From my Denver studio to your hands—here’s how to make sure your fine jewelry fits just right.
Finding the right size is one of the most important parts of choosing a piece of jewelry—especially when it’s made just for you. Whether you're purchasing a 14k solid gold ring, a handmade bracelet, or a chain from our fine jewelry collection, the fit matters. Because each piece is made to order in our Denver studio (and most solid gold styles are final sale), I always recommend taking a few extra minutes to check your measurements before placing an order.
Here’s a simple sizing guide to help.
Rings
Rings are personal—and sizing can vary depending on the width of the band, temperature, and time of day. The most accurate way to find your size is to visit a local jeweler and get measured in person. If you're measuring at home, it’s a great starting point, but may not be exact.
Here’s what I recommend:
-
Wider bands fit snugger. If you’re ordering a wider ring (especially in 14k gold), consider sizing up by a half or full size.
-
Stacking rings? Go slightly larger to allow room for multiple bands.
-
Between sizes? It’s usually best to size up for comfort.
If you’re local to Denver, feel free to stop by the shop. I keep a range of sizes on hand, and I’m happy to help you try things on in person.
Bracelets
Bracelet sizing really comes down to personal preference. Some people love a close fit, others prefer a little room to move.
To measure at home:
-
Use a flexible measuring tape or string and wrap it around your wrist where you’d wear the bracelet.
-
Add 0.25–0.5" for a snug fit, or 0.75–1" for a more relaxed feel.
-
If you’re layering bracelets, try varying lengths for a more natural drape.
Our handmade bracelets are available in multiple sizes, and I’m always happy to talk through fit before your order is made.
Necklaces
Necklaces are incredibly personal. The way a chain sits depends on your neck width, height, and even what you're wearing. What’s “standard” on one person may feel too short or long on another.
Most of our 14k gold necklaces are available in 16", 18", and 20" lengths. Here's a general idea of where each one typically lands:
-
16” – sits high at the base of the neck
-
18” – falls at the collarbone (this is the most popular everyday length)
-
20” – lands just below the collarbone, perfect for pendants or layering
To find your best fit:
-
Try using a string to test different lengths at home, then measure it against a ruler.
-
Or measure a favorite necklace you already own and like the length of.
If you’re unsure, send me an email—or stop by the shop if you’re in Denver. I can help you try on pieces and even adjust some lengths before production.
Why Sizing Matters
Because we create each piece to order in small batches, we don’t start production until your order is placed. And due to the nature of our small business, all solid gold jewelry is final sale. I want you to feel confident in your choice before we begin crafting it. If anything feels unclear, reach out—I’ll always guide you as best I can.
