Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. Scope and responsibility
This Privacy Policy describes how Sheena Marshall Handcrafted, doing business as Sheena Marshall Jewelry (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information in connection with sheenamarshall.com (the “Site”), purchases, inquiries, and related communications (collectively, the “Services”). “Personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to an identifiable individual, as defined under applicable law. This Policy applies to information processed by us in connection with the Services. Third parties that process information independently are subject to their own privacy policies.
2. Categories and sources of personal information
We collect personal information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Services, and through service providers supporting those interactions. Depending on your interaction with us, this information includes:
- Contact and transaction information: name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, purchase and order history, and information associated with attempted purchases. Payment information is processed through our payment providers.
- Communications and submitted materials: correspondence, customer service requests, custom design and wholesale inquiries, and information or files you voluntarily provide.
- Gift recipient information: recipient names, delivery addresses, and gift messages supplied when placing gift orders.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser information, time zone, referring pages, products viewed, and interactions with the Site.
- Marketing information: subscription preferences, shopping activity, and interactions with our marketing communications.
3. Purposes of processing
We use personal information to process payments and orders; arrange fulfillment and delivery; communicate about transactions; respond to inquiries and administer custom projects, wholesale requests, and customer support; maintain business and tax records; detect or prevent fraud and protect the Services; analyze Site usage and improve the customer experience; and deliver, personalize, and evaluate marketing in accordance with applicable law and your preferences. We also process information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Disclosure of personal information
We disclose personal information to service providers as needed to support the purposes described in this Policy, including providers of e-commerce hosting, payment processing, shipping and fulfillment, analytics, and email marketing. Information disclosed may include contact and transaction information, device and usage information, and marketing interaction data, as relevant to the services provided.
Email marketing service providers assist with subscription management, delivery of newsletters and promotional communications, and analysis of message performance. These activities may involve processing your contact information, shopping activity, and interactions with our communications.
We may also disclose information where required by law or valid legal process, to respond to lawful requests, to resolve disputes, or to protect our rights.
5. Shopify and analytics services
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which processes personal information to provide checkout and other commerce services. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for our store. Through this service, Shopify processes information about interactions with our store together with information from other merchants and Shopify to support product improvements, personalization, and advertising. Shopify is responsible for this processing and for responding to requests concerning that processing. Further information and applicable privacy choices are available in Shopify’s Privacy Policy and Shopify’s Privacy Portal.
We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to evaluate Site activity, traffic sources, and marketing performance. See Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out tool for additional information and available controls.
6. Cookies and advertising choices
The Site and its service providers use cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies to operate the Services, understand usage, and measure marketing. You may manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect cart, checkout, or other functionality and may not prevent all forms of data collection.
Certain disclosures or uses of personal information for personalized advertising may constitute a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws, including where no monetary payment is involved. Where applicable, you may exercise opt-out rights by contacting hello@sheenamarshall.com. Shopify’s Privacy Portal provides additional choices concerning Shopify’s processing.
The legacy “Do Not Track” browser setting is distinct from Global Privacy Control and other legally recognized opt-out preference signals. Applicable legal requirements concerning such signals remain in effect; this Policy does not limit those requirements.
7. Marketing communications
You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Opting out of promotional communications does not prevent us from sending non-promotional messages concerning orders, requested services, or communications you have initiated. Marketing preferences and any applicable consent requirements govern our promotional communications.
8. Privacy rights and requests
Subject to your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; withdraw consent; restrict or object to certain processing; or opt out of the sale, sharing, or use of information for targeted advertising. These rights are subject to applicable conditions, limitations, and exceptions.
Submit requests to hello@sheenamarshall.com. We may require information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorized agent’s authority. We will respond in accordance with applicable legal requirements. To request review of a decision concerning your request, contact the same address and identify the decision you wish to have reviewed. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority.
9. International processing and legal bases
We operate in the United States. Our service providers may process personal information in other countries, including Canada, whose privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data protection law applies, our legal bases for processing may include performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business, and consent where required. International transfers subject to such laws require applicable legal safeguards.
10. Retention and security
We retain personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including order fulfillment, customer support, fraud prevention, maintenance of tax and business records, and compliance with legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the nature of the information, the purposes of processing, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Information may be retained following a deletion request where permitted or required by law.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Do not send full payment card details or other sensitive information by email.
11. Children’s information
The Services are intended for adults making purchases and are not directed to children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, contact us using the details below so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may amend this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or legal obligations. The “Last updated” date identifies the most recent revision. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required by applicable law.
