We’ll develop the design and select stones and materials together, with your approval before production begins.
Make it yours
When your piece is complete, I’ll share final photos. The remaining balance is due before shipping or delivery.

Things to Consider
Each custom piece is designed and created through the lens of Sheena Marshall Jewelry. My goal is to make something deeply personal to you while still feeling true to the thoughtful, modern aesthetic of my work.
Diamonds + Stone Sourcing
I am not currently accepting diamonds or gemstones sourced from outside suppliers for new custom projects. I work with a small network of trusted stone dealers and am happy to source something exceptional specifically for your piece, with careful consideration given to beauty, quality, provenance, and budget.
Design Inspiration
I’m always happy to see images that help communicate what you are drawn to, whether that is a particular proportion, shape, setting style, or overall feeling. I will not replicate another designer’s work. Instead, those references become a starting point for creating something original and distinctly yours.
Heirloom + Sentimental Stones
I love giving meaningful stones a new life and am happy to consider heirloom or sentimental stones for a custom project. Because designing around an existing stone often requires additional planning, measurements, and fabrication, using a stone you already own does not necessarily reduce the overall cost of a custom piece.
Your Piece
Whether you are drawn to something timeless and understated or sculptural, modern, and a little unexpected, the custom process is collaborative. We’ll refine the details together to create a piece that feels personal to you and still carries the hand and point of view of Sheena Marshall Jewelry.
Investment
Every custom Sheena Marshall Jewelry piece is designed individually, with pricing based on the scale of the piece, materials, stone selection, gold weight, and complexity of the design.
As a general guide:
- Small custom pieces can begin around $1,500–$2,500
- Heirloom redesigns often begin around $5,000
- Custom pieces featuring a natural diamond can begin around $7,000, even for a smaller, understated design
- Larger diamonds, significant gold weight, or more complex fabrication will increase the investment accordingly
These are starting points rather than fixed package prices. After learning more about your ideas, budget, and what you are hoping to create, I can provide a more specific range before we begin.
Proposals + Getting Started
Custom projects begin with the inquiry form below. Please share as much as you can about the piece you have in mind, including your preferred materials, stones, timeline, and approximate budget.
Once I review your inquiry, I’m happy to answer a few initial questions by email and provide a complimentary preliminary estimate based on the scope of the project. This first conversation is meant to help us determine whether the project feels like a good fit before moving forward.
If you decide to move forward, a non-refundable custom retainer is required to begin the design process. Your retainer is applied toward the final cost of your piece.
Once your retainer is received, we’ll move into the more detailed design phase, which may include design development, stone sourcing, research, additional estimates, and refining the details of your piece together.
As we move toward production, the cost of diamonds or gemstones, gold or other precious metals, and additional materials will be invoiced as they are selected and approved. Because stone and precious-metal pricing can fluctuate, material costs are based on current pricing at the time they are purchased.
Final pricing may change if the design, materials, stone selection, gold weight, or overall scope of the project changes from the original estimate.
Timeline + Payment
Most custom projects take approximately 8–10 weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the piece and my current custom schedule. A more specific timeline will be provided once I’ve reviewed your inquiry and project details.
A non-refundable custom retainer is required to begin the design process. Your retainer is applied toward the final cost of your piece and covers the initial design development and planning.
Once the design is approved, any required stones, precious metals, and materials will be invoiced before production begins.
When your piece is complete, I’ll send final photos along with the remaining balance. Final payment is due prior to shipping or delivery.
Materials + Shipping
Please contact Sheena Marshall Jewelry before sending any stones, jewelry, or other materials. All incoming shipments must be insured, trackable, and securely packaged. The client is responsible for the materials until they are received by Sheena Marshall Jewelry.
Vintage, heirloom, and previously set stones may have existing wear, fractures, or damage that is not visible before work begins. While every reasonable precaution will be taken, Sheena Marshall Jewelry cannot guarantee against damage that may occur during stone removal, resetting, repair, or fabrication.
If a project is paused or cancelled after materials have been received, arrangements must be made for their return. Return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of the client.

Submitting an inquiry doesn’t reserve a project or begin the paid design process. A non-refundable retainer, applied toward your piece, is required to begin design.
