Teaching Classes

I was graciously asked by a close friend if I would be keen to teach some classes at their newly opened studio, FRIEND ASSEMBLY, located in Stanley Marketplace, Central Park in Denver.

In case you didn't already know, I spend my weekdays as an elementary school teacher who focuses on reading difficulties in children from kindergarten to second grade, and coach teachers in improving their instructional techniques. In the evening, I turn my attention to my jewelry business - a rewarding experience to do both jobs!

Considering the offered opportunity to expand my small business, as well as being able to showcase my metalworking passion to both children and adults, it was a simple choice to make. Psssst…..I am soon introducing summer classes for kids!

So, what can one expect from one of my classes? I think of it as a delightful gathering with friends! During the two-hour Ring Stacking Workshop, I take students through the fundamentals of metalwork, from shaping to soldering, filing and finishing a ring of their own - all materials and tools provided. Absolutely no experience is needed and it is beginner-friendly.

On top of that, I believe the best part about teaching classes at Stanley Marketplace is the availability of drinks for a much needed boost of creativity at CREATE, Cheluna, or the The Stanley Beer Hall.
