We use 14k gold fill, a material that offers the beauty of solid gold at a more accessible price point. Unlike gold plating, which is a thin and often unregulated surface treatment, gold fill is made by pressure-bonding a legally regulated thick layer—5% by weight—of 14k gold to a brass core. This results in a far more durable, long-lasting finish that wears beautifully with time. Each piece is handcrafted in our Denver studio using traditional metalsmithing techniques and finished with care.

Gold fill is tarnish-resistant and made to last, but benefits from thoughtful care. Clean gently with warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth when needed. To help preserve the surface, we recommend storing your piece separately and avoiding long exposure to lotions or sprays when not being worn.

Each order includes our signature care kit with a suede pouch, polishing cloth, and hard jewelry box—designed to help you protect and preserve your piece for years to come. A printed care guide is included with simple tips for keeping your jewelry looking its best.
