Before my days in Denver, before the studio and the storefront, I was a girl growing up in South Carolina, learning to love simplicity, quiet beauty, and the art of taking things slow.

From South Carolina to Solid Gold

My story starts in South Carolina, where summer nights meant catching fireflies barefoot in the grass and time moved just a little bit slower. There was no rush, only rhythm. That pace, that appreciation for intentional living, has stayed with me ever since and deeply informs how I run my business today.

Even in the early 2000s (yes, I’ll share some throwback photos below), I was experimenting with jewelry. Back then, it was more beads than gold, but the spark was there. The desire to create something meaningful never left.

Today, I work with 14k solid gold, tarnish-resistant gold fill, and sterling silver, crafting timeless pieces in small batches from my Denver studio. The values I grew up with—community, quality, and care—still shape every decision I make.

Creativity Runs Deep

Long before I ever held a jeweler’s saw, creativity was simply part of life.

My mom painted for the joy of it. She loved oil painting scenes from nature and portraits of animals, always noticing the little details most people overlook. She never made art for recognition. She made it because it made her feel connected.

My dad has always worked with his hands. He’s a welder and still is. The process of shaping metal, turning something raw into something lasting, was just part of daily life growing up. I didn’t know then how much it would influence me.

My grandfather was an artist in his own right. He created stained glass lamps, custom light fixtures, and large-scale installations, all on the side of his full-time job. He didn’t call it a business. He just kept making beautiful things because he could.

My jewelry practice began in that same spirit. A creative outlet that slowly turned into something more. But at its core, it’s still about using my hands, creating something meaningful, and honoring the quiet legacy I come from.
